One Accord Connections is inviting adults from across the Dan River Region to participate in Adult Field Day and Recess to celebrate the end of summer and relive some childhood fun.

Join us for a thrilling FREE field day competition featuring 20 teams, each composed of four players in a Captain’s Choice format. Strategize, bond, and bring your A-game to claim victory across a wide variety of physical and light-hearted challenges designed for adults.

Hosting this Adult Field Day will:

• Strengthen relationships between neighbors

• Encourage physical activity and mental well-being

• Celebrate the culture and pride of our community

• Reinforce resident engagement and grassroots leadership

• Set the stage for future commmunity-building events

Dress Code: Athletic wear is a must—think breathable shirts, shorts or leggings designed for movement and performance. Closed-toe tennis shoes are required to keep everyone safe and agile as they dive, sprint, and scramble through the day’s activities. Be expected to get wet.

Expect the Unexpected: This isn’t your average day at the park—expect classic field day favorites like sack races and tug-of-war alongside fresh surprises that’ll test your teamwork and your sense of humor. Whether you’re here to win or just here to play, this will be an unforgettable mix of competition and camaraderie.
