The NC Budget and Tax Center’s new interactive report estimates a family of four would ideally have a combined income of $98,000 to live comfortably.
The report says a Caswell County family of four would need a combined income of $83,530, meaning both adults would need to make $20.10 an hour. If they only made minimum wage, the family would need to work 222 hours per week.
