Caswell students aged 14-24 are invited to APPLY as a Member of Caswell’s Youth Council to co-create a diverse county-wide youth council intended to:

• Provide a collaborative space for local youth to guide the promotion & development of youth programming across the county.
• Offer capacity & support to local youth who wish to improve the health & well-being of Caswell County through the acts of learning & leading, together, as a community. 
• Create opportunities for local youth to engage with community leaders & government officials, creating a continuous feedback loop.

Caswell Youth Council members will:

• Serve as informers and decision-makers in matters regarding the health & well-being of our community.
• Develop collaborative leadership skills through practice in civil dialogue & cocreation.
• Explore & develop career & educational opportunities through networking, workshops, & training opportunities.
• Be compensated for their work, and experience.

Caswell’s Youth Council is a project of the Sense of Belonging Workgroup of Caswell’s Education Collaborative, in partnership with the Caswell County Department of Public Health and the Caswell Chapter of The Health Collaborative.
