Cedar Grove Missionary Baptist Association’s Youth Ministry and community partners invite you to a special youth showing of “The Movement.”
Producer Johnathan Parker will share with participants, “The Movement”, a documentary which tells the courageous story of the leaders and protestors that took to the streets of Danville, VA in 1963, risking their lives in a coordinated effort to end segregation in the Last Capital of the Confederacy. The documentary tells the story of the events that led to June 10, 1963, which became known as “Bloody Monday” and the role Dr. Martin Luther King Jr played in local events.

The film showing will include Music, Dance, Door Prizes, a Catered luncheon, panel discussions, and monetary gifts!
